Attack of the Mutant Animals!

No it's not a 1950s communist-fearing sci-fi film, I'm talking about the sudden abundance of freakishly mutated animals. Added today (here's a link)to the quickly increasing list of mutant pests was this five legged frog which a dog walker spotted. Along with the two headed cow and the 12 fingered/toed child are we seeing a rise in mutants? Could this be the start of a mutant animal outbreak? Hopefully.

This strange occurrence is nothing new however and freaky animals have been recorded before records began (yes, that makes no sense.) So, ladies and gentlemen, here is a list of the best and most famous freaky mutated animals. I present to you the Circus of the Freaky Mutated Creatures...

Oh and NONE of these are photo-shopped in any way. They're the real deal.


1) The Winged Cat - and not just one odd feline either. There's been well over 20 off these creatures. Very strange. How the hell does this happen! Must be something to do with the genes. Unless of course they're parents were naughty pussies.Check out the Wikipedia page for a whole list of them!

2) The Featherless Chicken - Not all mutations are natural or the product of a freak accident. Some are purposefully altered such as the Featherless Chicken which was breed not to just look ugly, but to make it easier to prepare for eating.
Think about it - how macabre could you get.

3) Two Headed Turtle- Born in a Pennsylvanian Aquarium, this little turtle was born with two heads at either end of it's shell, yet only had one pair of back feet and one tail. Teenage Mutant Ninja Conjoined Twin Turtles!

4) Two Faced Star - No, I'm not talking about celebrities! This is a genuine cow with two faces on one head.  Born in Virginia  has THREE sets of teeth and two tongues. Most freaky of all though is that the cow has only one eye socket in the middle of it's head...with two eyes in!

5) The Triple Cripple Dogs - Puppies! How cute. Well maybe not in this case. These chihuahua triplets were each more without any front legs so they're forced to hop along! And they were born in Virginia too! Something weird's going on there I tell ya! But good news! These dogs are pimping the kennels for they're now each an owner of a set of wheels attached to where their front legs should be. They're even the coolest cats on the street, or the biggest joke in doggy land.

6) Two Nosed Doggy - And you thought dogs had great senses of smell already. Well check out this mutation. Double the power to do some arse-sniffing as all dogs do.

7) Oink Oink - Here's a piglet born with four eyeballs in one eye socket and a long snout. Yummy.

8) Fluorescent Kitty - South Korean scientist have (for some reason) mutated a pair of kittens so that their skin glows bright red and green under a UV light. These people have too much time on their hands.

9) Invisible Toad - Well maybe not quite invisible, but you can clearly see through it. Japanese scientists have mutated a bunch of toads so that they can see through it's skin and observe it's organs. No dissecting for Mr. Toady....for now. They apparently hope it'll cure cancer.

10) The Legs Of A Chick - This New Zealand chick has four legs. Need I say more?

11) The Two Mouthed Trout - Something a bit fishy about this animal. Found in Nebraska 2005 by the fisherman who caught it (!) the trout had two mouths (although one didn't have a purpose).

12) Giant Bunny - Anyone seen Night Of The Lepus? Here's a giant rabbit that goes by the name of Rabi.  Within one year of it's birth it weighed 10kg and was 94 cm tall!

13) Two Faced Kitten - What is it with mutated cats?! Anyways, here's a mutant two-faced kitten - a genuine photo from The Sun.

14) Pink Pussy - Brumas the cat came home from a nice stroll one day to give his owners somewhat of a shock. He had strangely come back with pink fur! The vets found no traces of toxic influence or paint. The cat is still healthy.

15) Two Trunked Eli - In August of 2005, Ripley's was given the head of an elephant with two trunks! Very strange.

16) What the fuck is that?! - I present to you the one eyed kitten. Meow. Sadly it died after a few hours of birth.

17) The Satanic Feline - Am I the only one who thinks this mutant cat looks...evil? Sure they're not horns they're ears but still!

18) A Little Horse - Clear your throat then! Here is the smallest horse ever! Measuring only 35cm tall, Einstein the foal does not suffer from Dwarfism he is just a midget. Aww.
