OAP tortured and buried alive for two years!

Everyone has a phobia, from spiders to buttons, but perhaps one of the most terrifying is being buried alive.  Premature burial was such a prominent fear during the 18th/19th centuries that coffins were specially designed just in case of such an incident, complete with a bell, and occasionally even a toilet! So, unsurprisingly, it's a very serious fear. Now imagine being buried alive (in a coffin) for two years - only being fed once a day. Now imagine being buried alive in a coffin for two years by your very own family. Now try, if you can, to imagine being buried alive by your family and tortured through several holes drilled into the coffin.

Well, for one 72 year old man this was very real. It all took place in West India where eight family members (perhaps even more) buried the old man alive and tortured him daily. But why? For a portion of his land. Madness.
